Sandra Christensen:
A Fresh Voice for Arizona.
Educate. Prosper. Protect.

I'm Sandra Christensen, and I'm running for the Arizona House of Representatives in District 4 to restore trust in our government, empower families, and strengthen our economy for a brighter future for all. Our communities deserve leaders who lead with principle and compassion and who stand firm without compromise.
As a Governing School Board Member, wife, mother, and community leader, Sandra's core priorities are shaped by the values Arizonans hold dear: preparing our kids for the future, strengthening our economy, and keeping our communities safe.
For more than 30 years, Sandra has been a proven leader in business, technology, and public service. She brings a caring, no-nonsense conservative voice rooted in real-world problem-solving and fiscal stewardship. Sandra understands the everyday challenges Arizona families face and is committed to practical solutions grounded in the founding principles that unite our state and nation.
Empowering Education
By championing parental rights, school choice, and rigorous academic standards, we can ensure every child across our great state thrives with the tools they need for success
Building a Stronger Economy
By cutting taxes, curbing inflation, and supporting businesses of all sizes, we can spark job growth and ease the cost-of-living squeeze on hardworking Arizona families.
Safeguarding Families & Security
With broad access to healthcare choices, protecting parents' rights related to their child’s healthcare, and standing strong behind our police and first responders, our communities can be safe and prosperous.

Prosper
Arizona families are working harder than ever but struggling to get ahead.
I will champion policies that strengthen our economy by reducing burdensome regulations that stifle small businesses, promoting fiscal responsibility in state spending, and protecting the paychecks of hardworking Arizonans through lower taxes.
Economic freedom means more opportunities for our families to build wealth, create jobs, and achieve the American Dream right here in Legislative District 4.

Protect
Safe communities are the foundation of thriving families.
I will stand firm in supporting our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day, ensuring our neighborhoods remain secure from crime and chaos.
I will also protect our constitutional freedoms, defend the sanctity of life, and preserve the values that make Arizona a beacon of liberty. Every family in LD4 deserves to feel safe in their homes, their schools, and their communities.

Educate
Our children deserve world-class education that prepares them for success in life, not just the next test.
I will fight to transform our schools into centers of excellence by empowering parents with transparency and choice, supporting our dedicated teachers with the resources they need, and ensuring every dollar is spent in the classroom—not on bureaucracy.
We must return to academic fundamentals, restore accountability, and give every Arizona student the opportunity to reach their full potential.
"Countless times as the lone conservative voice on the PVUSD school board, I've faced moments where I was in the minority on votes involving fiscal responsibility, student safety, and essential matters that community members care deeply about. While I don’t always agree with the way the board as a whole votes, I do listen, collaborate, and try to find common ground. Still, I never compromise on critical issues or cut backroom deals to advance my own agenda. Integrity isn't negotiable—it's the foundation of the trust we build together."

Proven Leadership with a Personal Touch
My journey to the Arizona Capitol began with a simple lesson from my father, a humble grocery store owner who embodied the American Dream: work hard, keep your word, and serve others.

Sandra with her Father - a retired grocery store owner
Inspired by my father—a humble grocery store owner who embodied the American Dream—I've thrived in the public and private sectors, working for Fortune 100 giants and scrappy startups alike.

Rooted in Community, Driven by Desire to Serve
My passion for service runs deep from the schools to our local churches and nonprofits. Volunteering at the Phoenix Dream Center was an eye-opening experience, where I mentored a young man who had been trafficked by family members, walking alongside him with unwavering support.
At Reigning Grace Ranch, I poured my heart into nurturing therapy horses who, in turn, help build confidence in troubled youth and special needs guests—reminders that small acts of kindness can heal and inspire.

My heart beats for service—whether championing kids on the school board, innovating in my career, or lending a hand to neighbors," I reflect warmly.
"They call me the 'Voice of the People' on the PVUSD board because I truly listen and battle for what families and educators hold dear. I'm eager to carry that same passion, wisdom, and neighborly spirit to the State House, standing shoulder to shoulder with Legislative District 4 to defend the conservative values that make Arizona shine.

Sandra states: “My life's work has been about listening carefully to the concerns of clients and constituents and tackling challenges head-on to help those in need. Being an elected official on the Paradise Valley Unified School District Governing Board and my tenure working for the Arizona Department of Education have equipped me to understand some of the toughest challenges facing education in our state. I’ve witnessed how governing boards and state decisions touch every constituent — and I want to bring back trust and accountability to state government.”
